BPB Mission Statement
To extend a healing hand to underserved international populations
by providing specialized extremity care and performing life changing
orthopedic and podiatric surgery regardless of economic or geographic status.

Providing Specialized Care for Underserved Communities

Imagine a world where everyone, regardless of their geographical location or socio-economic status, has access to quality medical care. Our mission is to help underserved international populations who struggle to receive specialized care for their upper & lower limbs.

By providing expert orthopedic and podiatric surgeries, we aim to bridge the global healthcare gap, particularly in areas where it's desperately needed. Our goal is to increase access to medical care, empowering individuals to regain their independence, resume their daily activities, and ultimately, live healthier lives.

Surgical Expertise Meets Philanthropy

Our first surgical mission was to Danang Vietnam in 2010. Since that time hundreds of lives have been changed for the better. All of our surgeons are experts within their respective medical fields and all are committed to philanthropy, teaching and global social equity.

Donate for a better future

Bones Pro Bono provides free orthopedic and podiatric surgeries in Vietnam and Kenya for people who cannot afford specialized care. In particular, we provide medical care to those who would otherwise not receive it due to economic conditions or lack of healthcare infrastructure, helping to improve their quality of life.

A Young Girl's Journey Beyond Cerebral Palsy

Patient PN was only 6 years old when we first met her. She had spent most of her life confined to a wheelchair, a victim of the debilitating effects of cerebral palsy. That initial encounter was intimidating for her - she was terrified of these strange doctors from America, with their unfamiliar accents and medical equipment. Yet, despite her fear, she showed remarkable courage throughout our interactions. Her surgical procedure was complex.

Three years later, we had the opportunity to reevaluate her progress, and her mother's reports were nothing short of astonishing. PN now runs and plays with her friends with ease, unencumbered by the limitations that had once defined her life. Witnessing her transformation was testament to the power of medical intervention and the human spirit's capacity for resilience and adaptation.
